Programme Structure

Designed to accommodate and complement the busy commitments of today’s global managers and professionals, this 10 months part-time MSc programme comprises of 6 modules plus a dissertation which are delivered on a modular basis.


Assess the ways in which organizations raise finance for projects, the financial viability of projects and how to control spend during project implementation.

Cover the structure, development, leadership and management of teams that plan and deliver projects.

Examine the different ways in which businesses and organizations make use of projects.

Prepare to carry out master’s-level applied research in computing, with a focus on cyber security

You will be introduced to the concepts, principles and techniques needed for effective project management.

Explore the skills needed to understand, and work in, the complex multi-sourced environment that supports business change. 

You have the opportunity to carry out an original piece of research, adding to existing knowledge and demonstrating an ability to select, define and focus on a Project Management topic at an appropriate level.


This is a coursework based program with certain modules having a combination of coursework and examination.

Delivery Structure

Each module spans over 2 consecutive weekends per month and includes a comprehensive coverage of 34 hours of face-to-face lectures that is complemented with online course support, additional readings and resource materials.

Graduates will be ready to join the project management team in many different organizations – from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to the largest global corporations. The knowledge and skills you acquire on this course will enable you to take on the role of project manager or become an effective member of a project management team.

Admission Criteria

Participants are expected to contribute to the class learning experiences in a cohort and peer learning environment. You will be assessed based on experience, aptitude, potential and managerial skills.

A business or an engineering degree with a significant level of computing content (minimum of 3 years relevant work experience).
